Subject: Re: Sprite and Gib

Wendy Winstead's early stuff would have preceded him, if
memories from those years suffice, and I believe that they do,
but her later ferret years should overlap his years. Therefore, it
could fall into a time frame when either may have said it. As a
writer of folk songs (professionally for folks like the Smothers
Brothers) as well as physician, she was a word-smith. She also
had her ferrets altered and spayed before sale.

Somewhere around here we should have an early copy of her
first ferret book (the tiny one), so *IF* I can locate that since it's
not where it normally belongs, we may be able to settle this.

Well, I took a break and looked, but can't find it in any of the
logical places. It may be that we lent it out at some point and
never got it back

BTW, we used to have a Winstead ferret many years ago: Fritter.
