Cheese from ferret to cat food, I'm just curious and a bit confused
about the food issue.

I am not familiar with the current formula for Purina Kitten Chow,
but in deciding if something is acceptable for ferrets as food, you
need to look further then just the protein percentage. Where the
protein is coming from is equally important. There are foods out
there with a high protein percentage, but the protein is coming from
plant rather then animal sources. So, you also need to look at the
ingredients. The better ferret foods all have chicken or some other
animal source in the first 3 ingredients.
