We had a rescue ferret a few years ago with Sarcoptic
mange which our vet treated with an injection of
Ivermectin. Incredibly his claws were also affected
by the mange (so our vet said), they looked a bit like
corkscrews they were so twisted.
He was an albino but because of his diet, his fur was
an ugly orange colour.
With lots of TLC he became a gorgeous, snowy white
little guy with no lasting problems.
