There is only one blood test that is considered effective for detecting
adrenal disease. I suppose they would run it for a Costa Rican as well
as anybody else. You'll just have to call and see. It's expensive at
about US$150.

The Adrenal Ferret Panel includes DHEAS, 17-hydroxyprogesterone,
androgesterone, testosterone and estradiol and requires 0.5 ml of
serum. You can contact the folks there for more info.
