Subject: [Ferret-Health-list] lump on ferret.
Hi I have a ferret named Sweety. She has a lump on her stomach
area. It has been there for about two months now and has obviously
been growing (more than twice the size). She has been eating and
acting healthy. The only other "symptom" I've noticed is that she
is uncomfortable when I hold her. If I touch it she doesn't seem to
flinch or anything though. I have schedualed an appointment with a
vet. But I was wondering if there are any vets (or anyone else) who
could give me any suggestions. Im assuming that the vet will want
to remove it. Are there any alternative solutions? I dont know if
I can spend that kind of money. Is there anything else I can do for
her? She is about 3 yrs. old. I am also sending a picture (I hope
it works).
