Subject: Otomax for ear yeast infections?
I just have a quick question.
A while back one of my ferrets was diagnosed with a yeast infection
in her ear. She was prescribed Otomax, one drop twice daily for 10
days. Shortly after this, I remember reading something about Otomax
being toxic in ferrets. Is this true?
I have two boys who I believe to have yeast infections in their ears
now and before I take them in tomorrow to the vet's, I wanted to
check, just in case she wishes to prescribe Otomax for them as well.
