Hi Christina,

I have 6 ferrets and two of my albinos Luna and Luis do the same
thing. Don't panic trust me been raising ferrets all my life (I am
34 got my first fuzzie at 16) this is absolutely normal behavior.

Peace. Michele

Hi,

I have a question, please. The other day my fiancee and I we're
doting over Fiefal while he was sleeping, cause he's just so
dammed cute!! Nick picked him up to wake him and he laid limp,
not a breath or tremble anything to indicate he was alive. I
started screaming and crying at the same time, I didn't know what
to do, who to call and I started to panic. Nick continue to shake
him, wake him get some reaction.

Finally Fiefal's eye's opened and he let out a big yawn, I can't
express to you how happy I was. It sounds dramatic because it
was....

Is this normal sleeping behavior?? I never experienced this with
Bandit??

Could this be an idication of something wrong??

PS

Has anyone heard of a ferret food called Mazuri ?? I believe that
I read in I-village pets that this was a good diet. I don't ever
remeber ever hearing about this one?? Has anyone tried it or are
familiar with it?

Lastly, someone on the list mentioned feeding canned pumpkin to
her ferret and it really helped with IBD (I think it was)... She
specifically mentioned all natural pumpkin... It sounds like that
would be packed with natural sugars or at the least high
carbohydrates, I can't figure out how that would help??

Thanks,
Christina
