Subject: Re: partial paralysis

Is this a rear leg weakness? That actually is not an uncommon
side effect of a range of common medical problems. One
common example is insulinoma. Were blood tests done? Was
blood glucose run? Any other tests done? Were there any other
symptoms? Some steroids will control blood sugar problems or
some other things beyond inflammation, so if the symptoms
reoccur a while after stopping steroids that might be a
consideration. If they reoccur I'd sure do testing. An acute
infection can sometimes cause a general symptom like rear leg
weakness, so hopefully it was just that or a minor injury.
