Warp responded rapidly; within a week the others would let her
sleep with them again. She is the one who decided that all the
other ferrets and each of my little pink toes were her babies. She
is tiny but she would pin them and clean the ferrets tothe point
where they couldn't stand her, and I had the cleanest toenails
imaginable. Her vulva and nipples took longer to respond fully.
Much of her fur never regrew.
Seven of Six took about 3 weeks to show any improvement; she
is the one who got aggressive and her vulva and nipples had
gone up a large amount suddenly again.
Warp can't have surgery because she is such a poor surgical
candidate, having almost died in two previous unavoidable
surgeries. Seven has a right adrenal tumor that is grown into the
Vena Cava but lacks collateral circulation so it can't be ligated.
