Subject: help! ferret and wine!
help... i left about an ounce of wine in a glass last night
and fell asleep. should have put it in the sink this
morning... didnt... came home... mollie knocked glass over...
heard it and came running and grabbed her... cant imagine that
she got to drink any before she knocked it over.. shes not
that graceful... but i dont know for sure because i didnt see
her get up there... the vet is closed... the emergency
referral line said that "it" will probably just get drunk, and
"it" will probably just sleep it off... and a vet will call me
at 7:30... it has been about 20 minutes and she's not showing
any effects... anyone? i gave her a bunch of treats to try to
make sure she doesnt have an empty stomach. she wont drink
water though. she's very awake... does the opart of alcohol
that gets you drunk evaporate over night? how fast will this
go through her system? can she be poisoned?
