Hi Alicia! I honestly don't know. I'm hoping maybe Dr. Williams or
Dr. Purcell will jump in here with their knowledge. I was just
passing on the info that I was told in Boston. I think it would be
great if we could avoid vaaccinating every year based on where the
titer level is. Three of my six ferrets react to Fervac (haven't
tried the new vaccine yet) and it would be nice to be able to wait as
long as possible before going through all that again.

I think it's a great discussion and I hope the topic encourages vets,
techs and anyone who knows about this stuff to chime in! I, for one,
would like to hear more information about it! Can anyone straighten
us out?

BTW, thank goodness for all the people who are "only shelter
workers!" :)

Sincerely,
Erin
