Sounds like your little girl has the classic signs of an adrenal problem.
Out of the 30+ ferrets I have rescued in the last 20 years 17 of them had
this same problem showing the same signs you have described. You will need
to talk to your vet. I have always had to do exploratory surgery to really
know with the exception of the last one which I did a blood panel that cost
$140 and took 3 weeks to get the results when I was pretty certain that was
the problem. I have always preferred surgery if the kids are in good shape
and I think they have a few more years of good quality life. I am currently
treating one of my older kids with depo lupron which is alternative to
surgery. Good Luck. Deidre

My baby is 9 years old and has a crown of baldness on the top of her
head, also the tip of her tail and her tummy is bald. What is
wrong? Any suggestions would be appreciated.
