In addition to the other suggestions people have made, you might want
to read Dr. Burgess's post in message #8728. It is rather lengthy,
and is a reply he made to Dr. Otten on his thoughts on dealing with
gastro-intestinal problems. You might also want to read an article
by Dr. Burgess that is in the files section of the FHL website,
dealing with IBD. While the grinding teeth is more suggestive of
ulcers, stomach upset and occasional runny stools can also be signs
of IBD. With 2 of my own ferrets, I have found Imuran an excellent
treatment for IBD, with no bad side effects.
Just some suggestions for things to look at and discuss with your vet.
