Subject: Buddy
went to the Rainbow Bridge last night. He was with the sitter all day
and she took him to have fluids because she felt she had to do
something. He was in shock and his body temperature had dropped so low
he was cold. I warmed him in some towels from the dryer and held him
for his last 30 minutes. I told him about the Bridge and all the
friends awaiting him there. I thought about taking him to put him to
sleep but figured it would be too late by the time I arrived and I
didn't want to spend his last minutes driving.
Thank you so much for all of the input I have received both on the
list and privately. When you get very close to a situation, you miss
things. You helped me consider everything and that's what this list is
all about.
