Subject: Re: Help!! Nail Polish

<When we walked into the room there was nail
polish everywhere and footprints. Just about all
the gang had polish on their feet and one had a
stipe on his face. Another had a dot near her
wiskers. There was no evidence of any near the
mouth on anyone<

I'm not a vet, but.......
I sometimes mark baby wildlife with nail polish so
I can tell them apart. I haven't seen any
side-efects. Many wildlife rehabbers use this
method. Of course, I only use a small amount. I
don't think you have anything to worry about,
especially since you don't see any indications
that any was ingested.

Don't try to remove it. Just let it wear off on
its own. It should be gone within a day or two.
And, of course, keep an eye out for any signs of a
reaction.
