Subject: Problem!

I have a really big problem going on. About 2-3 days ago
Fang developed really loose, watery, foul smelling stools. I
started her on Kaopectate. Then yesterday I see that Mookie
has it. So I spoke with the vet at Purdue today and he told
me to get fecal samples into them, that ferrets don't get
intestinal flu like we do. He also told me that Dr. Williams
is working with Purdue on developing a corona virus vaccine
(Great news there!)

So at noon I emailed Dr. Williams and spoke with him. He said
he wasn't ready to say ECE. I haven't been in any pet stores
around kits, even walked into the pet store that sells
them-been a good girl, been staying away. So it's a
puzzlement to me.

Tonight I get home from the part-time job, start garnering
samples. As far as I know only Calvin and Genie don't have
this-I'm not sure about Conan-there was a watery stool on the
paper and I don't know who did it, but I did get samples on
everyone else. I also started them, per the advice of my vet,
on 1cc of Pepto Bismal. He said to give it three times a day.

Has anyone had anything like this happen to them? The group
of 6 are fine-no problem there, but in my group of 8 I'm about
ready to fly. I'll know more tomorrow, I hope. I've got 7
cups and one wrapped baggie ready for exam. What type of
treatment is it for Giardia or Coccidia? Here I am trying to
save all my money for Fang's surgery on the 27th and now this.

Any advice or help any one can give me would be greatly
appreciated.
