Subject: The End of an Era
To ferret lovers everywhere, a Happy Holiday and a great Year
2002.
For the first time since 1988, our Xmas will be without one of
the greatest
joys of all, happy little guys excitedly thrashing about in
the
gift-wrapping paper. Our first "ferret Xmas" was in 1989, the
last in 2000.
There were four during that time, Giorgio, Gigi, Gypy and
Chuki. Chuki, the
last, was called home on September 21, 2001. Xmas will never
be the same,
again. Because my own health is failing rapidly, I can't bring
another
little guy home to an uncertain future.
Cherish the little ones, we never get to keep them long
enough.
