There have been a number of messages sent expressing heart-felt
concern for some members and some ferrets. Although I share your
feelings of sympathy strongly and agree with some of the
non-health-related ideas offered, if the message does not add
something new to the medical or behavior part of the equation which
impacts on ferret health understanding then it simply is OT.
If you go to http://groups.yahoo.com/group/Ferret-Health-list you can
reach the poster directly. Simply find the original post in the
Message section and click on the author's highlighted name or addy
(instead of hitting "reply" as you would for a post. Then write your
private message and send it. As has been pointed out many times
there is a fault in Yahoo which causes it to put up an error message
after sending. Ignore that; messages are going through. People DO
appreciate such private posts with good ideas and sweet words.
Hope this helps those who forgot that part of the rules that were
sent on joining, and also hope that it helps some find an easy way to
respond privately.
