Thank you. We will not get a free vet visit because the vet
we need to go to is 70 miles away in another town and they
just don't work that way :o(
The house is pretty much "ferret proof", he will have to show
us what we have missed though so we can go from there LOL. I
will supervise him with my cats and watch closely him with my
children as well or should I say my children with him. No need
to worry about heat stroke, at least not right now with the
snow outside but I will take extra precautions in the summer
months just like I do for my dogs and rabbits :o)

TTFN,
Heather

Seasons Greetings!

I think all you need to do is make sure he is up to date on
distemper and rabies. The store should have that info for
you. And by the way most pet
store give you a free vet visit to ensure the health of the
animal. (Up here in Ontario Canada anyways) so use that to
your advantage. Should be ok
with cats, mine are, as are most, but every animal has a
personality and you should be watchful at first. Remember
how small a hole they can get
through. Keep him away from your children alone until he is
comfortable and you know how he reacts to being picked up a
dragged around. Don't let
him get to hot (over 85 degrees F) or he might get heat
stroke.

I'm sure there's lots more I should say but at the moment
its not coming to me.

Love to hear how everything goes....

Merry Christmas to all
