Subject: Fwd: [Ferret-Health-list] New kit with lethargy

ROXANN_ PLease get the ferret t a vet ASAP- or return him. Thgsi time of
year ferret kits which are on planes can become chilled during transfer on
& off the plane. Sometimes they sit on the runway for a while before being
loaded into cargo and thus get chilled. The ferret needs some medical
attention. You have 2 choices keep the ferret - get the medical attention
adn present the bills ( keep copies!!!!) to the pet store for reimbursement
- providing you have Marshall Farms ferrets and the warranty agreeement--

or return the ferret to the pet store - I will advise you however, that in
such cases the ferrets which are returned do not survive -- and the store
gets credited for a replacement kit in the next delivery. This is the sad
fate of pet store ferrets.
