6 and 1/2 isn't that old -- more early old age.

Was blood glucose checked in case of insulinoma? (You only
mention lymphoma but blood tests aren't diagnostic for that
though they can lead toward a direction.)

Were x-rays done in case of injury?

Was Prednisone tried? Pred can help control the symptoms of
insulinoma for a while and can reduce swelling, helping to heal
an injury. We have a little girl who is a year older than your's who
recently injured her back dashing around almost two weeks ago,
and with the help of Pred she is steadily improving. Now, if only
she wasn't starting to run at nearly full speed again... (She
re-injures herself, but not as badly as the original injury so the
over-all direction of progress is right.) Boy, did she hate being
confined for about a week and a half to help her heal...
