Subject: Isoflurane vs Propofol

I have 2 female ferrets that are now 6 months old. They are
due to be spayed in the New year. I rang the vet surgery
today, to enquire about the type of anaesthetic that they will
use. They said that it would probably be Propofol. However,
talking to other ferret owners here in the UK, I have learnt
that most vets are now using Isoflurane.
If I go ahead with the Propofol, will my jills recover as
quickly, as they would if they had the Isoflurane?
All responces are appreciated.
