Subject: Question of Symptoms

Tenaka is a 6 year old male, neutered, ferret. In June, 2001, he had
adrenal surgery to remove most of the cancerous (confirmed by lab)
growth on his right adrenal gland.

He for the longest time was fighting an infection in his bladder.
This was noticiable by the pus coming from his penus. Baytril has
cleared up the "apparent" infection. There is no more white matter
coming from his penus. I state apparent in quotes because Tenaka
still continues to have leakage from his penus.

He has been on the 100 MG 4 month depot of Lupron the whole time.

For Vets and Vet techs: Is the leakage related to the adrenal gland
and cancerous growths that was not able to be removed? Will an
increase in the lupron dosage help or alleviate the problem?

Thanks.
