I have used straight petroleum jelly for 3 years. Most hairball
remedies are nothing more than flavored petroleum jelly. During
shed season you should give them a small dollup every day or every
other day. Off season maybe once or twice a week.
Is it ok to use straight petroleum jelly (100% white petrolatum)
hairball preventative with ferrets? I've read elsewhere that it's
so I gave mine a small pea sized amount and he thought it was the
greatest stuff since Ferretone. So, 1)if it's OK to use, then how
much? and 2)Why does mine (or ferrets in general) like the
