Subject: Spots on tail

My little girl Chloe has spots on her tail. They look to be bruises BUT the smell like musk:) I have noticed blackheads on her tail so I have tried to wash every couple of days her tail. The blackheads do not seem to be going away and she is starting to loose her hair at the tip. Any suggestions would be helpful. And if I am not very clear please let me know So I can try to give more info.
