I am not an expert on ferrets by all means. We just lost one after surgery. But my daughter found a Ferret magazine at Petsmart that has articles in it about Ferret health. You might want to try and find one at a local petsmart and read it to see if there is anything in there that might help. Sorry I can't help anymore than that. Good luck and you might want to pull up the vet guide who specialize in Ferrets. Again good luck.
