Dr. williams recently commented that ferrets don't usually have liver
disease. I don't know what else to call what my two are going
through. Huge growing livers, Giesela's biopsy clear of lymphosarcoma,
and ultrasound showed no cardiomyopethy. The vet said the only thing
left to do was exploratory and I have decided against that. my focus
will be on providing quality of life and so far they are doing ok.
Specifically right now I am concerned regarding boris' big waterballoon
tummy. the vet said the x-ray showed fluid but the furosemide doesn't
seem to be making any difference.
should i try a different drug?
