Subject: Causes for pain with eating?
Message-ID: <20021202134356.11057.qmail@web14405.mail.yahoo.com>

Does anyone have an idea what would cause pain with
eating, other than ulcers?

Despite clearing up what was apparently a 6-month long
bacterial infection with flagyl, Mishka continues to
exhibit pain when eating. I belive he is in pain
because he abruptly stops eating and runs away with
his tail curved up. Before the Flagyl, his tail was
"up" all the time, but now it just happens when he
eats. He also runs away and hides when I am preparing
his food, even when he's obviously hungry.

He does not have blood in his stool, grind his teeth,
or paw at his mouth.

Any suggestions as to what we should look for at the
vet's tomorrow? I am somewhat at a loss. Mishka has
adrenal disorder and insulinoma, for what it's worth.

Thanks for any help,
Melissa
