I will not get into your 'musings' as I am not a vet, however I am sure many things apply to ferrets! I would like to comment on Milk Thistle(SILYMARIN), I have used it several times with different ferrets experiencing different liver problems, it is available at any good Health Food store in liquid form and is easy to adminster to ferrets---Angela.
