It sounds like Chongi has had a slow onset and that the symptoms are not marked. Is this right? We've had vets ask us to wait a month or two on such ferrets to try to be sure that it would be clear which adrenal was presenting a problem. In our case that has not posed a problem.

If we have one get that "sweet-rotty" smell that can go with malignancies, or the onset of symptoms is fast or extreme, or there are serious complications happening we rush it. One of our males even had an adrenal op on an emergency basis because his first sign was complete urinary blockage, as can happen with males who have adrenal neoplasia.
