Hello,

I *just* went through this last Thursday and Friday. My ferret also neededthe
meds to compensate for the bi-lateral adrenal surgery.

My vet along with vets/people from the FerretHealth List informed me that in
some ferrets, florinef doesn't work. What they need is an alternate med
called Percortin (0.2ml). It is an IM injection given every 4 weeks (+ or - a
week depending on how your ferret).

Keera needed subQ fluids along w/ florinef until the vet could get the
percortin in the office. You can check the archives for the past week to see
the discussion we just had on it if you need more info. Good luck!
