Some vets use cryosurgery in that situation, some de-bulk the tumor in other ways. If there is enough collaterol circulation some ligate the Vena Cava. There are also some who re-section the Vena Cava. You can ask your vet if there is possibly a vascular surgeon in your area who does ferrets since some of this is specialized.

Have you had any insulinoma surgery done on her? Insulinoma personally is usually more of a concern to us when both are ocurring.
