I'm new to this group, I've done much research!
Here goes, I've been having a dilema with my ferret "crash". To make a long story short. One morning I woke up and noticed he had a problem walking,not eating or drinking water. I have taken him to three yes I stress "3" vets and have been given a diagonsis of a dislocated elbow as of today 8/27. The Vet has recommended pins in his leg. This is all new to me I'm feeling a bit nervous about complications. Considering he is a ferret and not a dog. Could he become worse from surgery? I'm considering having this done by the end of the week. I just want to make sure I'm not going about this the wrong way.
Can you please provide any assistance in this matter?
