Zoe (who is 2) had exploratory surgery this morning to remove adrenal tumor=
(s). The vet just called and said that she did not see any tumors in zoe at=
all. she said that the adrenal glands were normal and were very tiny, almo=
st microscopic. Zoe is itching all the time and her vulva is a little swoll=
en. we did a tennessee panel which came back very high and that zoe did hav=
e adrenal probs. the dr is going to start zoe on melatonin when her sutures=
come out. I had a normal blood test ran on her as well which showed her ly=
mphocytes were very high. the dr thinks that it could be from the stress of=
her itching all the time. is this true? her lymphocytes were 88.9 normal i=
s only 10-44. her hemoglobin was 12.8, mcv- 50.2 mpv-10.7 neutriphils 6.0 t=
otal neutrophils# 0.3 total lymphocytes#- 4.2 everything else was normal. a=
ny suggestions to this? The dr thinks that we may have caught it too early =
and will have to do the surgery again later on. will the melatonin help alo=
t? Please help, I dont know what to do for her. =
