I did something similar for one of my ferrets who had
too much going on for adrenal surgery and still seemed
itchy in spite of the drugs. I would rub him down
with olive oil. Mainly because that was what I had,
it was edible, and I wasn't sure if baby oil would be
good for him if he licked it off. Anyway, it was
messy but it worked really well.
