It struck me that her vulva was swollen. You may want to ask your vet if he checked to see if all of her ovaries were removed. Even if a small part of her ovary was left when she was fixed this sort of thing can happen. Since you dont want to open her up again (the stress on your fuzzy is a major consideration) you might want to try the shot to get her out of heat and if that works plan the surgery for when you and her are ready. But ask your vet first what the side effects are for giving her the shot if she isnt in heat (cant remember but i'll see if i have my acquantances phone number and give them a ring (since the shot situation actually happened to them) and ask for the name of the drug and the particulars of what actually happend).
