Having gone through a serious reaction just a few weeks ago, I would keep an
eye on him, administer fluids, and check breathing every hour. I have one
boy who reacts horribly (seizures, passing out, vomiting) and one who just
vomits about 45 minutes after the shot. Did they treat with steroids? I
would make sure you know of a 24 hour vet close by, and if there is not one,
it may be worth your peace of mind to take him to the vet for the night. I
would think that he will be fine, with some TLC, if he passes a normal stool
and keeps down his food.

Has any one gone through this before?

Or is it safe to just monitor him closely?
