Years ago I had a ferret who contracted bacterial meningitis. Dr. Williams
was able to diagnose after seeing the results of the blood work that was
done. I remember she was given subcu fluids, antibiotics, and Dr. Williams
said he would have put her on prednisone, but by the time my vet talked with
him, Sweetheart was over the worst. She went on to live another 5 or 6 years
and died this summer at the approximate age of 7 1/2. Hopefully, Dr.
Williams or another vet will see your post soon and respond.
