We had one about whom vets had a question at one point, so instead of just running blood glucose levels they also ran blood insulin levels. Can't recall which one it was or why. In that one's case it was insulinoma (That I do remember.), but they wanted to make sure that nothing else was causing the law sugar levels.
We've had some have to use the operating scope to see the growths, some feel for them, and one prefer to remove a section of pancreas,
