What a beautiful post about Puppers.
I have a question. Has anyone ever taught a ferret to come for a
specific scent? If so, that could be another way to call a ferret
who gets out and the scent could be used to label the outside of the
home doorway to aid in return or to come to a searching person who is
marked with the scent (though I suspect that a spray bottle may waft
it out better). I know that some have been trained to respond to
flashing lights but in daytime those would not be useful.
