Mike,
They attempted to draw blood from the jugular. He was very cooperative. We have been treating him for insulinoma.
I spoke to the vet tech yesterday (the vet is going to call me on Monday) and explained that they want to knock him out so they can draw blood from his chest. When I talk to the vet I will be clarifying this.
I just don't want to put him under any undo stress...
