My vet who I love dearly has described the difference between megaeosphogeous
is that when they vomit - if it just seems to come up without effort of
regurgitation - thats mega. If the ferret seems to "hork" (I'm sorry but
y'all know that sound) before vomiting, its not. The time delay can also be
indicative - most mega cases the food never reaches the stomach so its
regurgitated quickly after eating... We've had one case of mega in 10 years.
