Hi Sukie and all :)

These can come from systemic infections or from lymphoma/lymphosarcoma. At
times if these exist long term they may simply be common to the individual.
Common to the individual? Oh.
Two years ago, the vet treated for infection several times. Still enlarged
nodes. We opted for an allergy then, of unknown origin. I changed to Nature's
Recipe as it has no corn. This seemed to help.
But reciently (two months), I had to change the cat's food to a prescription
food, IAMS Low Residue. It has corn. Since she has free reign of the house,
she eats that too.

Oh. Ok.
<<What tests did the vet do? What were the results? >>
Two years ago, he checked out all the nodes and only the ones above the
shoulder were puffy/enlarged.
Ok, maybe I am just a tad paranoid. What with the cat having an unidentified
who knows what, having to put the dog to sleep, my last ferret dieing when I
thought I did everything I could 2.5 years ago and Bianca losing a bit of
tail fur. I just want to be a good mom.
Maybe I will just go and hide under my blanket for a while.
I will have a blood test done.
Hugs to those who need them.
