Mike

It is a prednisone that I get from my vets. It is liquid and I give her 3cc
of the liquid twice a day. On the bottle it reads Prednisone S 1mg/ml and
I measure 3cc in a small needle. Could you please explain a hypoglycemic
episode. I didn't notice her dazed although I have been worried with her
lack of energy and her bloated appearence.

episode. Instead of being totally out of it like with a seizure, they may
just appear to be dazed, or hypersalivating (which looks foamy), stumbling,
dizzy appearance, etc.

How much pred is actually in the liquid? It should be listed as so many mg
per ml. If you get it in a bottle that your vet has filled and it doesn't
say, you need to ask. Just stating the liquid amount doesn't tell how much
pred she's getting.

past few months. Last nite we thought she was vomiting but all that came
out of her mouth was white foam and I need some advice.
