14-day follow up at vet today. Mojo doing much better. Vet keeping him on the dexamethasone and amoxicillin for two more weeks. Mesenteric (sp?) lymph nodes still swollen.
Talked to vet again about his ulcer protocol. He changed over from the preferred carafate/amoxi protocol about ten years ago. Recovery rates are much higher using dex/amoxi in his practice than they were under old protocol. Has talked to other vets about it (including our own Dr. Bruce Williams) and some are also using protocol in their own practices with much success.
