Were the stools loose? green color can be from rapid passing and I
think that Bag Balm has some ingredients with laxative effects like
petroleum jelly and mineral oil, doesn't it? (Could be completely
wrong on that score, so the question is a real one.)

When we needed something for that purpose I think we used olive oil
and then towel the little guy down afterward.

Perhaps in this ferret's case the Bag Balm may be better reserved for
moisturizing her mom's hands? (Also a real question since I am
stumped about actual cause.)
