An excessive loss of hair could be adrenal gland disease - especially if the
loss is bilateral and symmetrical. The mysterious wounds that come and go are
something I've always referred to as adrenal hot spots - that is, if your
ferret has AD. Mast cell tumors are another likely cause, altho they always
tend to be there and look more like a growth than the others. Its worth
talking to the vet about the possibility of adrenal gland disease as well as
