Not really. If you search past posts you will notice that boiled till soft they were mentined as safe, but as-is they pose a real blockage risk. I can recall some from earlier years (before Cheweasels or Foamy Fries) who died from pig's ears, rawhide, etc.

Have you tried a dental check by the vet? Extreme chewing can happen due to the space available for the teeth not being large enough to fit them, to infection, to dental injury, etc. We've had a ferret erupt a tooth in the palate (Had to have surgery.), one who had a baby canine get stuck between erupting adult teeth and cause an abcess, etc.
