The 2 ferrets I have seen with intestinal lymphoma both presented like acute
foreign body ingestions. Both had dilated intestinal loops on radiographs,
and a suspicious mass-effect in the abdomen that on radiographs could have
passed for a foregin body. On exploratory surgery it was apparent that there
was no ingested foreign body, just a big tumor associated with the
intestines and enlarged mesenteric and other GI-associated lymph nodes. The
intestines were not friable, but there were discrete sections of intestinal
thickening. One of the cases had an intestinal perforation in the area of
the largest mass. I have pictures of at least one of the cases that I could
post. Do we have an area for posting images?

still following this, could you perhaps give me more info on the overall
presentation of the two ferrets you mentioned that had intestinal lymphoma?
Did you seen an acute onset of illness like this without other physical
symptoms? Were you able to determine the amount of involvement of the
intestinal tract...was it diffuse like this or more patchy in nature?
