Dear Renee:

1) Don't know, but if you have bloating and stomach distention, that is enough.
2) I wouldn't worry about the bloating and distention unless if recurs. You have enough to worry about.
3) With insulinoma and adrenal disease, and the slow rate of growth of most bilibary cystadenocarcinomas, I think I would opt to monitor it with ultrasound. If I may be blunt, it would not be unusual for a ferret with insulinoma and adrenal disease to to require additional surgery for it, which gives you another opportunity to be in there and can take out the tumor at that time. I would not go rushing back in there right now if you can monitor it.

With kindest regards,
